The math department is having their annual Math Awareness Day, Wednesday, April 17, 12:30-2 p.m., in Building 7. We will celebrate the importance of Mathematics and how it plays an important role in everyday life. This year’s themes are Cryptology, Coding and Mathematics in Music. There will be some applications of Mathematics in the areas of music, cyber crime and computer coding. All faculty and students are invited. There will be giveaway prizes, food and refreshments.
