On Monday, Sept. 26, Dr. Michael A. Cadore Sr., executive director of community engagement for external affairs at Eastern Florida State College, will present a dynamic lecture as part of CF’s Mega Monday series. The event will take place from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Webber Center on the Ocala Campus.

A former professional football player drafted by the New Orleans Saints, law enforcement officer, and Rockledge city councilman, Cadore has served his community for more than three decades through education, public safety, civic engagement and mentoring. His community efforts led to him receiving the 2021 Distinguished Alumni Award from Eastern Florida State College and the 2022 Distinguished Service Award from Eastern Kentucky University. He will inspire attendees with his life motto, “If you don’t serve your community now, don’t expect your community to serve you later.”

The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments and event giveaways will be provided. The lecture is funded by the Mr. and Mrs. Seymour B. Robinson Memorial Endowed Chair.
