CF’s innovative educational series, “Patriot Project: Bringing History to Life,” continues Wednesday, Nov. 2, 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Webber Center. CF Communications Professor Sandra Cooper will present “Literature in the Colonial Period.” She’ll discuss the writing that shaped the American spirit, the American Enlightenment and our founding documents.

The Patriot Project takes a deep dive into the history of the 17th and 18th centuries, expanding on the new state civics initiative to invite students, staff and the community to a monthly lecture series. Lectures are free and open to the public and light refreshments and event giveaways are provided.

The Patriot Project was developed by Dr. Sarah Satterfield, CF professor of music, with funding provided through a CF Foundation New Initiative Grant.
