The CF Humanities and Social Sciences Department presents retired Col. Janet Yarlott Horton, U.S. Army chaplain, on Thursday, April 4, at 6 p.m. in the Webber Center. Col. Horton will discuss her role as one of the military’s first female chaplains as well as her own faith background in Christian Science. Horton is a master of divinity, commissioned by the US Army in 1976, has received two Legion of Merit awards, four Meritorious Service medals and two Army Commendation medals.
