Loss by Susan Lenz

“The Gap Between Art and Life,” a new exhibition presented by the Webber Gallery, is on view through Sept. 7.

You’re invited to an Artist Talk with Susan Lenz and Kimberly Riner on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Webber Center. The artists will take questions and light refreshments will be served. This free event is open to the public and is funded by the Robinson Federal Endowment Challenge Endowed Chair.

This inaugural competitive exhibition of installation art features eight diverse artworks by four different artists that allow visitors to interact with the gallery space in new and unique ways. The jury panel consisted of Leslie Hammond, president of Artistic Eye Fine Art Services, and Victoria Billig, assistant director of the Appleton Museum of Art.

Webber Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday and admission is free. For more information, call 352-854-2322, ext. 1664, or visit www.CF.edu/Webber.
