On Wednesday, Oct. 26, CF will unveil “Voyage,” a 1 to 10-billion scale model of the solar system, which has been permanently installed along a 2,000-foot path across the Ocala Campus. This replica of the display located in front of the Smithsonian Institution on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., was brought to campus by the Kappa Nu Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa honor society.

Please join us for an opening reception on Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in Building 20 and explore the 13 stanchions that represent planets from the sun all the way down to the dwarf planet Pluto.

This model was brought to the College of Central Florida for permanent display by the Kappa Nu chapter of Phi Theta Kappa with assistance from the CF Foundation, a gift honoring Mrs. Charlotte Rosenberg, Ocala Municipal Art Commission, The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and Renaissance Printing.
