Please save the date for the 2024 Open Enrollment for Florida Blue Medical Insurance and other health benefits.
2024 open enrollment is scheduled to begin Oct. 25 and will continue until midnight Nov. 5. A detailed message regarding Open Enrollment will be posted to the CF Insider at a future date.
Below are a few highlights. Full details about plans, rates, employee events, and enrollment instructions will be provided at the commencement of Open Enrollment.
2024 Benefit Changes:
- Enrollment: Enrollment is not mandatory unless you are making plan changes or adding dependents. If you choose to take no action, your current benefits will roll over to the new plan year. This includes voluntary benefits (Short Term/Long Term Disability, Cancer Insurance, Medigap Plan) offered through Cornerstone Benefits.
- The exception for rollover is the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) through Eagle Benefits. FSA members must log in to the Eagles Benefits FSA site to make new monetary elections for the 2024 plan year or contact them at 800-726-5603.
- TELEDOC: As in previous years, CF is offering TELEDOC, a convenient service that provides access to a network of U.S. board-certified physicians who can resolve many medical issues via phone or online video consultations. It’s quality healthcare, when and where you need it, at a price you can afford.

Computer lab sessions will be offered for anyone who needs assistance enrolling in benefits. Please come prepared with all pertinent information needed for enrollment (access to your email account used for FBMC online registration, dependent and beneficiary information – full name, date of birth, social security number, etc.).

- Nov. 2, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
A representative from Cornerstone Benefits Services will be on campus to offer enrollment assistance for short-term disability/long-term disability, cancer insurance, Medi-Gap plan, and dental/vision questions on the following dates:
- Ocala Campus – Oct. 30, and Nov. 2, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in Bldg. 1, Conference Room 105
- Citrus Campus – Oct. 31, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in Bldg. C4, Room 105
