The Washington Center Internship: Apply Now

One outstanding CF student will be selected for the opportunity of a lifetime: a summer internship in Washington, D.C. that provides unparalleled opportunities for career networking while earning academic credit.

This holistic experience is designed to help students gain the experience, skills and network to succeed in a professional career. Hundreds of internship sites in the nonprofit, government, private and arts sectors include the U.S. Department of Commerce, the International Trade Administration and C-SPAN, just to name a few. Plus, furnished intern housing is provided. The selected student will be responsible for airfare and transportation. CF will cover the cost of the program and housing, and scholarship funds will help pay for the 3-credit course.

Interested students with a minimum 2.75 GPA should request a letter of recommendation from a CF instructor, department chair or dean on CF letterhead. Applications must be submitted to Sam Ajlani, ajlanis@cf.edu, or Jose Toro-Clarke, clarkej@cf.edu by March 10.
