A recent review was completed of FRS Investment Plan members who do not currently have a named beneficiary, specifically if their beneficiary is listed as “Per Florida Law”. To communicate the need for these Investment Plan members to update their beneficiary designation, FRS has started mailing the attached notification to these Investment Plan members beginning April 1. They will send 5,000 each week from April 2024 through December 2024.
Additionally, a follow-up e-mail will be sent two months after the initial mailing to any Investment Plan member who received the mailing but has not named a beneficiary.
