Last Call for 2024 New Initiative Grant Applications!

Calling all CF employees! Do you have an innovative idea? There is a total of $9,500 in new initiative grants available.

Applications are due to the CF Foundation office by Friday, April 19, 4:30 p.m.

All eligible CF full-time employees are invited to apply for the Category V New Initiative endowment grants sponsored by the CF Foundation. (To be eligible, candidates must have completed one full year of CF full-time service by July 1, 2024)

These grants will fund any project or activity chosen by the selection committee that promotes the college’s goals, learning centered values and vision on our campuses and in our community.

#1. Category V New Initiative Endowment Grant for Career Service category employees:

  • A $3,000 total award: $500 honorarium with $2,500 to fund the project or activity.

#2. Category V New Initiative Endowment Grant for Administrative / Professional /Technology category employees:

  • A $3,000 total award: $500 honorarium with $2,500 to fund the project or activity.

#3. Category V New Initiative Endowed Grant – Collegewide (open to all CF employees – faculty, career service, administrative and professional)

  • A $3,500 total grant: $500 honorarium with $3,000 to fund the project or activity.

 

Criteria: These grants are intended to promote educational innovation, creativity, and risk-taking. Funds may be used by an individual or group to develop new educational ideas, procedures, courses, programs and activities that provide exciting future educational opportunities for students. Funds may be used for any expenditure directly related to the general endowment criteria, including, but not limited to online subscriptions, periodicals, curriculum materials, hardware / software, equipment, learning materials, library resources, consultants, speakers, programs, services, conferences or any other related expenditure.
