Dear Friends and CF Family,
Thank you is an understatement for honoring me last Monday at my CF retirement celebration. I am beyond humbled by the amount of time, energy, and love that was focused on me. Thank you. As I told Brittany and Brooke on our way to the Webber Center it is so difficult for me to accept attention, as I feel so much more comfortable as the planner and giver. Thank you.
The week has been very, very, busy with Brittany and Brooke being home as we tried to cram as much as possible in the few days before they flew out to New York City for a cousins’s wedding. Yesterday, I sat in silence and read each card again with such gratitude to have you as my friends and CF family. Your generosity, kindness, and thoughtful words have helped me transition more than you will ever know. I WILL forever be a CF PATRIOT and welcome the chance to help you or a student if needed. Never hesitate to ask as I will serve with PRIDE.
Extra thanks to Dr. Henningsen, Dr. Reyes, Carol S. Smith, Chenita Hart, Deya Garcia, Glen Owen, Cheryl Crosby and her Conference Service TEAM, and Berry Davis for organizing my beautiful celebration. It was perfect and I pray I had the chance to at least say hello to each of you and give you a hug. I could have sat and talked with each of you for hours, but then we’d still be there! I love our stories, times, and memories and please know I will always sincerely cherish them and YOU!
After much thought, reflection, and prayer I will join the downtown Ocala Faithfully Guided Health Center as the Business and Community Liaison. I have loved being a very satisfied FGHC client over the last year, amazed at their growth, believe in their mission and 5 pillar model, and want to be part of an answer to continue to help others. As we know, TOGETHER our communities get stronger!
I look forward to seeing YOU at a CF ball game, CF Performing Arts event, AFC Retiree member meetings, at FGHC, out and about the community, and Facebook.
